Life is Like Rain or Vice Versa

It’s about 8 AM and I just got to school. I am sitting at a table in building 30 looking out at the garden towards building 5. It’s pretty quiet and the view is wonderful. It’s raining outside. It is a cross between pouring and misting. It’s pouring, but the drops are microscopic; it’s pouring mist. I don’t mind this rain. This rain that gives some people pain. I just don’t like the cold, especially the rain when it’s cold. This rain during the summer is more poetic to me. It’s so peaceful and when I look at it like it’s nature, cause it is, it’s like part of Mother Nature’s personality or her life cycle. All of us women have a life cycle, eh,

I guess men do too, but Mother Nature has a female cycle like us women.
I love looking at nature from different angles. Microscopic views, global views, planetary, rhythm, above and below, inward and outward. I love to see similarities and coincidences in nature like my analogy of Mother Nature’s cycle and women’s cycles. I just thought about the solar system too. After all, women’s cycles are guided by the moon’s orbit. I think a lot of it has to do with magnetic pull, gravity. The planets are spinning around the sun in circles, in relationship with one another, and their dance creates a force of gravity with their momentum. It’s a perfect relationship. Everything vibrates and spins to the music of nature, down to the tiniest electron, proton, and neutron.
Another analogy that I have thought about recently is rain in relationship to the belief that when you die your soul goes to heaven and some believe that there is reincarnation. I was meditating, and I was imagining myself as one with everything and everyone. Sometimes I imagine that I am just a small molecule in the vast of all molecules held together by the one energy that keeps everything alive and in motion. I start to feel that we are all this liquid matter rolling along as one big mass.
Then I thought about how we are mostly made of water. I thought about how rain falls and then dissipates back into the atmosphere, forms clouds, and repeats its cycle as rain or snow falling to earth again. I think about the relationship between water and humans. My mind wandered back to humans being water, and I thought about our birth to death cycle. Some believe that when you die your soul ascends to Heaven. If you throw reincarnation into the mix, our souls leave our bodies on this physical plain and ascend to Heaven to be born again thus our soul returns back down to earth to live another life in a body made of mostly water.
I love looking at life as a whole. It’s much more peaceful like the rain that is falling this quiet July morning.
