What is Reiki?

Reiki is pronounced Ray-Key.

"Rei" is the Japanese word for universal in reference to the higher dimension of the light and soul.

"Ki" is the Japanese word for life force energy which connects all.

Reiki is not a religion. It is a universal healing of the mind, body and soul.

It is not suggested to use Reiki alone. You still need to go to your doctor and follow his care instructions or get a second opinion. Reiki may enhance the care given by your doctor to speed up the healing or cure whatever ails you.

Reiki is the force behind the Yin and the Yang. It is a whole and complete energy before the split into duality.

This being unique is the powerful attribute that enables the Reiki System to be used at anytime, anywhere and in any situation.
